She was going to leave a boar like she has been for several other people but she remembered Alfie probably wouldn't eat it, and she likes Alfie enough to not leave him out. So turkey it is!
Someone with a good eye will be able to notice bite marks at the board's throat, and someone who is really clever will be able to note said bite marks match that of a fox's dentition.
