[ Quiet, then: ] Do you think I shouldn't?

[ Royce reaches up to wrap his arms around Alfie's neck, hugging him tightly. That's all. He's just feeling - well, he's actually feeling vulnerable. Maybe it's the hangover. Maybe it's getting his worry out in words. ]

[He presses their foreheads together, locking eyes with Royce if Royce will let him.]

I do want you to talk about these things.

[bywolves]

[ Royce lets him, for a few seconds, and then looks away. ]

I don't feel like it does any good.

[devoutish]

But I truly do think that keeping it inside you would do worse.

[bywolves]

... I don't want it to be like when it was winter. [ Which is an agreement. He doesn't want Alfie to get angry with him like he did. ] I won't always talk to you about it.

Are you asking me not to bother you about it in the times when you don't?

[bywolves]

No, it's more... more that I won't give you more to worry about, every time. I can find someone else to talk to about it, sometimes.

[devoutish]

I like worrying about you.

[bywolves]

I'm not saying you can never worry about me. I'm saying I'll give you the chance to do it less.

[devoutish]
