[It's fucking weird, bro.]
Re: >action
Tell me about it. I'm honestly not sure what to make of the whole thing. If it hadn't been for that whole... timeline bullshit, we'd just be two dumbass friends with similar names.
>action
Re: >action
I think I'd lose my mind if I started thinking that way. Y'got the beard though, I'll give ya that. As for region...
[he snorts again.]
I don't know. Think you could live in the tropics?
[hoenn is.. .. .. very warm.]
>action
Re: >action
[then again, a lot can be said for archie's heat tolerance given he literally stood in an active volcano crater for a while. weirdo.]
I could, probably, but my Pokémon would hate it. So I wouldn't, simply for them.
>action
Well, that idea's shot, then. I suppose we're not alternate versions of each other after all--
[He quirks a brow at Archie.]
-- despite the beards.
Re: >action

Re: >action
[he can barely keep his shit together while he says it; he's not serious.]
>action
[No they're not.]
Re: >action
>action
[Digby immediately trots over and shoves his nose first against Alfie's hand, then Archie's. Very terrifying.]
Re: >action
Horrifying! [he laughs again, distracted with the dog for a couple of moments.] --Right. What was this about getting twatted then talking about the history of our worlds?
>action
[He'll keep only taking sips himself, though; he's a very light drinker these days.]
We're gonna get you fucking plastered; that was the promise.
Re: >action
I'm lucky to have such a friend. Just gimme a slap if I start cryin' or talking about the natural balance, yeah? Those are roads not worth goin' down.
>action
[Alfie says immediately, as he hands over the bottle. Are you still happy to have him as a friend, Archie?]
Re: >action
>action
I wanna here both. Start with here; I'm sure I'll agree.
Re: >action
Fuckin'-- alright. So remember that relic bullshit? It was in my head-- [wince at the memory, takes a long drink.] and basically twisting some vague thought I had about the pollution here being out of control into... what happened in January. Lemme state now that what that was was utterly wrong.
[another drink.]
Anyway, so the problem I see here is that nature is mostly just seen as in the way. People only really pay attention to what they're doing when a fuss is made about it, despite the fact they should consider it on an equal level to what they're doing with their planning for expansion and whatnot. [he feels a pang, knowing maxie would argue that with him. he finishes his drink and pours another.] Now, I'm not sayin' humans shoulder suffer or be forced into close quarters to preserve the nature around the city, but they still gotta be mindful that we were here after it all.
[he slumps back in his chair, not even close to finished but still clearly annoyed.] I just want people to actually think about what the fuck they're actually doing, for once.
>action
Mm-- I'm from the city. I suppose I'm part of the problem.
[Especially since early 20th century London is polluted to hell and back.]
Re: >action
[said with a shrug.]
I can't reasonably hold everyone to that expectation. Some CEO cheats on his business expansion or waste disposal-- that's not your fault. You can't do anything about it. I could give some grand speech about how everyone can make a change and do their own thing, but honestly? In this imPort world? We got bigger problems. I'll do what I can, because that's how I feel, but most of us're just tryin' to fuckin' survive.
>action
[He pats Archie on the shoulder.]
And driving-- well, I don't drive much, anyway.
Re: >action
[he blinks a little dumbly at the shoulder pat. the drink is getting to him.]
Bro, I lived in a ff-- cave in the middle of the ocean for the last couple years. A car, I ain't got.
