[ But he sounds warm and happy about that. ]

[He wraps his arms around Royce's chest, bringing them both back down onto the mattress.]

[ Royce oofs, playfully, when they get back down to the mattress. ]

A selfish ruse. I wanted to look at the crystals so I brought you along in case of bears.

I'll remember that, when we're sailing home and I find myself with an opportunity to push you into the water.

[ Royce huffs out a laugh, making a face. ] Gross.

I did. I didn't imagine it until you brought in the raincoat.

[ He's just gonna go ahead and push Alfie's face. You big ham. ]

[He tries to catch Royce's hand.]

[ Royce laughs again, letting Alfie catch it after he's shoved a bit. That sure is a big unrepentant grin on his face. ]

[Success! He shoves Royce's hand into his own face, palm first.]

It is good to see you smiling, though.

[bywolves]

[ Rude!! Royce lets out a monotone ow at smacking his own face, but he's still grinning. ]

I think I'm finding a balance. [ He admits. ] And you always help.

[devoutish]

That means a lot to me. You know that, yeah?

I do. I'm glad that it does - I could stand to tell you more often.
