Clearly you have never been to a tea shop. Yea has everything in it. Purretty much everything.

I've been to a different sort of tea shop, I think.

[furgood]

To be fair, the tea shops in the Capitol are fairly ridiculous. And expensive. But really delicious, all sorts of free samples.

[devoutish]

Have you got a favorite?

[furgood]

There's one I loved. It had black tea and rosehips and strawberry... chocolate and raspberry. It's really lovely and fruity but with that little hint of bitter.

[devoutish]

That sounds like candy, not tea. Have you wished up any here?

[furgood]

It's delicious and sweet. It just needs a little sugar and is perfect. It's good with milk as well. [ Which prompts her to add that milk ] I haven't wished up any but it seems like a silly thing to ask for.

[devoutish]

Does it? Because it's small?

[furgood]

Well sort of. More because it's something so... easily used up. I guess I put more weight into wishing than I should. There's bigger things I'd wish for.

[devoutish]

Look here.

[Alfie opens the door of a little wine cabinet set into the counter, showing her that it's filled with bottles.]

If we run out - if we use them all up - the cabinet makes more.

[furgood]

... Really? Is it-- magic?

[devoutish]

I don't know what else I'd call it.

[furgood]

Amazing... did you wish for it like that? So it would never run out?

[devoutish]

Yeah. I made it for Royce; it's wine from his world.

[furgood]

That's sweet. Something of home that will never run out. [ She runs her hand along a bottle and steps back ]

[devoutish]

Mm. Would you like a glass? It's not bad, as wine goes.

[Alfie isn't a big drink of it, himself.]

[furgood]

I don't think it would go well the tea. Or the bread. [ She gestures at them ] Another time? I bet they're lovely. I think Royce and I have pretty similar tastes. Or at least we were drinking the same thing at John's party.

[devoutish]

Did you talk, then?

[He closes the wine cabinet, turning back to the tea and pouring himself a cup.]

[furgood]

A little. It was dark and hard to see to read his lips. [She sighs ] And I was a little tipsy. I might have laughed at him a bit. He jumped like a cat when the fireworks went off.

[devoutish]

Ah. Was he offended, then?

[furgood]

I don't think so. He was more thrown by the my cat puns. They get worse when I'm drinking. Or sleepy for that matter.

[devoutish]

You always talk like you can't control them.

[furgood]

I can but it's a habit. You know how those are. And having less inhibition means a little less keeping them in check.

[devoutish]

Well, all right; fair enough, fair enough. I've been known to talk a bit more like a London man when I'm drunk.

[furgood]

I don't even know what that means. [ She shrugs ] But alcohol has plenty of odd effects.
