[She tilts her head ] Well, in interest of being honest and not so complicated, I like you. And I've no interest in being-- what was it-- claimed? But clearly I like you enough to kiss you. So--I guess something in the middle too.

[Teasingly:]

You could kiss me on the mouth, if you liked.

[furgood]

[She laughs a little and leans in like she might ] Then what am I going to give you for making me bread, hmn? I had a reward system.

[devoutish]

[He does the same, but doesn't quite bridge the gap.]

In that case - bread tomorrow?

[furgood]

Angling to get your reward early? [She giggles and doesn't give him an opportunity to reply before she dips forward to kiss him. It's a soft gentle kiss, a little hesitant at first ]

[devoutish]

[He kisses her back readily, with more sureness to it, but he doesn't try to deepen it. He can do soft and gentle.]

[furgood]

[ She pulls back just a breath and smiles ] Do rewards count for the things you've given me before? I might owe you a few more.

[devoutish]

Mm.

[While she's still close, he pecks her on the lips, light and quick.]

If this is the sort of reward that I can expect, then I'm certainly not gonna say no.

[furgood]

[She's still giggling when she kisses him again. This time, the kiss is a bolder and far more confident, buoyed as she is from his obvious interest.]

[devoutish]

[This, too, he's happy to take, humming against her lips as he reclines into the arm of the couch, tugging her closer.]

[furgood]

[Her squeak is muffled from her unwillingness to stop kissing him quite yet, but she doesn't seen upset. She just shifts and tucks a knee up beneath her to make this position more comfortable]

[devoutish]

[Very good. He slides his hands up her arms to her shoulders, then further still to cup her face in his palms.]

[furgood]

[ Her eyes close as she takes in that sensation. It's nice, this is all so nice. She hadn't realized how hungry she'd been for touch honestly. She breaks the kiss only to turn her face into his hand. ]

[devoutish]

[He curls his fingers against her cheek.]

Mm?

[furgood]

[Softly:] Just... being silly. Missed touching someone is all.

[devoutish]

Not silly.

[He exhales, breath tickling her skin. He's missed this kind of thing, too.]

[furgood]

Meowbe. [She presses a kiss into his palm and then a quick peck on the lips] You're so kind to me, you know.

[devoutish]

Well - you give me good reason to be.

[furgood]

'Cause I'm kissing you? [Teasing]

[devoutish]

That's one of the bigger reasons. Yes.

[furgood]

Hey! [She laughs and gently bumps foreheads] You were supposed to say it's because I'm sweet or something. You're no good at this, hmn?

[devoutish]

I said it's one of the bigger reasons. It's certainly not the only one.

[furgood]

Fine fine. Say what you will. [ She dips in for another kiss ]

[devoutish]

[He could do this all afternoon, honestly. He leans up to her again, experimenting with deepening the kiss, opening his mouth against hers.]
