[Alfie moves his petting to Royce's arm, stroking up and down.]

[ Royce smiles. ]

That we can do much sooner. I can wish for the resources.

Mm. And you want to sell it?

[bywolves]

Trade it, yes.

[devoutish]

You'll have to draw a label for the bottles.

[bywolves]

[ He tilts his head back. ] Not that great at drawing.

[devoutish]

Well, you're gonna have to contribute somehow, seeing as how I'm gonna be naming it.

[No discussion here. He already has a name picked out.]

Oh, are you? And what is it named, then?

[Duh.]

Oh. Royce takes a deep breath. He kind of feels like the wind has been knocked out of him. ]

I - yeah. Yes.

[devoutish]

[Alfie smiles, his lips curving against Royce's hair, and his limbs loosen.]

Yeah, I thought you'd like that.

[bywolves]

[ He is having a moment, here. He squeezes Alfie's hand. ]

I think I have a design in mind. [ He'll show Alfie later. ] Are we still going to trade it under a black tent? Black market.

[devoutish]

I like that, yeah. We'll be a bit cheeky.

[bywolves]

[ He's all warm on the inside. ]

... I feel a little better. [ Royce murmurs. ]

Yeah.

[Alfie closes his eyes, sighing contentedly.]

This is my favorite part of every day; did you know that?

[bywolves]

Laying here with me? [ It's Royce's too, honestly, but he's pretty sure he doesn't have to say it, based on how relaxed he is. ]

[devoutish]

Yeah. Laying here with you at the end of the day, talking about what's gone on.

[bywolves]

Mm. I had an idea that it was your favorite part.

I'm never more relaxed than I am when I'm with you. I know you know that.

[devoutish]

And I'm glad for it. You're so often tense; i should be rubbing your shoulders more often.

[bywolves]

[ Royce closes his eyes. ]

I wouldn't mind it if you did, but don't feel obligated.

[devoutish]

[Alfie gives him a nudge in the side.]

Roll over, then.

[bywolves]

[ Royce huffs, but he does, in fact, flop off to the side and down on the bed, on his stomach. ]

Only if it doesn't hurt you.

How is it gonna hurt me, exactly?

[He flexes his fingers in preparation, then starts to knead at Royce's shoulders, gently at first.]
