We still haven't seen Royce. Maybe we really should go looking for him.

I worry we'd wander right past each other. I think you had the right idea. Best to stay put.

Mm. [ She settles against his side, then. She can't exactly feel it, so much, considering they're in VR, but. ]

Well, all right, then. Yeah. [ She says, in the worst possible approximation of his accent. She's not good at this like Royce is. ]

[devoutish]

[That's a little surprising, but he lets her, carefully resting a hand on her arm.]

That was an embarrassing effort.

[Which he, of course, says in her accent - not that he's any better at hers than she is at his.]

[ That has her giggling, which is very undignified. She covers her mouth to stifle them. ]

Alfie - you have no room to talk!

I can do Royce's better.

[Somewhat better. Still not nearly as well as Royce does his.]

What would you like me to say?

"My name is Royce and I'm very tough."

[devoutish]

[In a passable, but not perfect, Royce accent:]

My name is Royce, and I'm very tough. I can throw a knife at you, with my mouth, while climbing a tree, and hit you dead in the heart.

[ She claps, laughing again. ]

Oh, please tell me you speak to him in his accent, sometimes. That's wonderful.

Yeah, I bully him with it. He pretends not to be pleased.
