It's beautiful honestly. It's perfect for this time of year... Have you told some of my new Norfinbury refugees about it? It seems perfect for this time of year.

I do appreciate you coming by. Might have stayed in all day otherwise. Royce is off hunting, but he does that better on his own; I make too much noise, apparently.

I wasnt even sure you'd want me to come over. Excuses to get out not withstanding. [She tugs at the hat a little more] Glad he's getting out though.

Yeah. Why did you think I wouldn't want you to come, because we quarreled at the town meeting or because of the weather?

Hmmmn. [She shrugs, pulling her hair back with one hand and then deciding to twist the mass up and into a bun]

Well. Neither's gonna keep me in, it turns out.

[Fff, she tugs at it to secure a little better. There is every chance containment will fail but she's trying. As silly as she'll look in a bath in a winter hat.]

Mmm. The dog went off with Royce; can you believe that? He's forgotten who his master is.

[furgood]

You poor thing. [She reaches out and cradles his face in her hands, voice solemn but her smile giving her away] First abandoned by Royce and now the dog deciding to followed him. It's almost like you share everything you own.

[devoutish]

[Called out. He grins, opening the door for her as they step out into a bright winter day.]

That just means the cat's mine as well.

[furgood]

In so far as any cat belongs to anyone. [ She repeats that old refrain, blinking at the glare of sun on snow.] You're ridiculous.

So I've heard. Have you got a swimsuit on you?

[furgood]

Do you? [She gives him a once over, up and down] Keep it in your coat maybe?

[devoutish]

I keep one at the bathhouse, but don't let that get out. I don't wanna end up with it stolen.

[furgood]

Well--no you're right. I handed over a pair of cat ears at Halloween and he still has them. [Hum] Too bad I talked about your secret bathing suit where anyone could hear.

[She waves her hand at the world around them. There is no one here]

House wore cat ears on Halloween? Did you get a photo?

Of course I have a photo, it was a photo scavenger hunt. It's all back at my place. Sadly I don't carry everything on my person at all times.

[devoutish]

May I borrow it, later on?

[furgood]

You may but I'm deadly curious what you're going to do with it? Tormenting House seems unlikely, he was unashamed about it.

Oh please do, it'll be great. I gave him my pair with glitter and fluff, they're great.
