[ Royce doesn't protest. He doesn't move away, and just - floats, warm enough to not worry. Relaxing is easier than he thought it'd be. He'll fall asleep soon enough, after murmuring a good night in return.

During the night, he doesn't cuddle, but he does curl up, knees mostly to his chest, hand extended to hold onto Alfie's sleeve somehow. It makes him sleep better, even if the move is entirely a subconscious thing. ]

[Alfie does cuddle a little bit, once he's asleep. He shifts closer by degrees, always unconsciously, to seek out warmth. By morning, one arm will be loosely thrown across Royce's shoulders.]
