[ Royce is running low too - they really need to restock, soon. He gives them meager portions, and forces water on Alfie for those few hours. He worries, but Alfie warned him. It was going to be bad tonight.

When Alfie prods at him, Royce mumbles, and pushes his tablet off to the side to slowly sink down, exhausted. He doesn't even open his eyes, he just flops down into the blankets, on top of them. He shivers. ]

[devoutish]

You're cold.

[Alfie speaks his first words in hours, tossing blankets haphazardly over Royce and tugging at the ones under him. It's a good thing they have a lot.]

[bywolves]

Always cold. [ He says, in a tone that suggests he's annoyed at this fact. Royce yawns widely, shifting lazily so that Alfie can help him get blankets. He immediately scoots close and soaks in whatever warmth Alfie has to give him. ]

[devoutish]

Let me take care of you a bit.

[He murmurs, tugging him close.]

[bywolves]

Mm. [ He's sleepy enough that he just wiggles forward and accepts the hug without complaint. Hi, yes. He's warm here and half-asleep. And he's still absently petting at Alfie, trying to comfort. ]

[Once Royce is settled and at least somewhat comfortable, Alfie goes quiet and still again. He'll be like that until morning - and he definitely won't be the first one up.]
