[That makes two of them, and Kesara is starting to understand, too, that she is not thriving. Despite all there is to be discovered. Despite the strange freedom of being on her own. Perhaps that is why she tries harder than ever to not be on her own.]

Almost gone. I was a little poorly before, I think because of that night in the tunnel, but there are people here now, Zach and Ecks and Dr. House, so I don't work too hard. They're - [she pauses, considers it carefully, and continues -] Zach and Ecks are trustworthy. Dr. House lies, but he's not that hard to figure out, if you pay attention.

I think they mean to. Now they're here, everyone's very curious. [she is resigned to that. In fact she may be ready to appreciate it.]

Except Dr. House maybe. He might go off again, he's always going off and sometimes dying.

I'll tell him so - I'll try to tell him so he listens. Though I think he'd like to make you go out of your way. Some people are like that.

[She is, sometimes. But she wouldn't do that to Alfie. Doing these things for a reason is one thing, but House just does it for spite. So much spite.]

Is he meant to give you something? I think he might have sulfur for me...

Just the sulfur, if he has it. It's medicine. [There's a little spark in her eye that rather belies this claim.] Otherwise just tell him not to die - he might listen to you more than to me.
