To facilitate the spread of supplies, requested goods and goods available for trade may be listed here. ALFIE SOLOMONS may be contracted as broker for an additional fee to be negotiated by the parties involved. Brokerage services may include:

Negotiation of the trade deal
Enforcement of the pre-arranged terms of the trade deal
Delivery of goods

Once an agreement has been reached, the broker will require a small nonrefundable deposit, to be paid as soon as possible. Full payment will be due once the trade has been completed.

Participants must be aware of the risk involved in trade in Norfinbury, including but not limited to significant delays caused by unforeseen town activities and the disappearance of trade goods to due the deaths of one or more participants. The broker will be responsible for making a good faith effort to see a deal done, but cannot give a 100% guarantee of success. The initial deposit is nonrefundable regardless of the outcome of the deal, except in cases of negligence on the part of the broker. If a trade fails or is cancelled for any reason, final payment will not be required. Purposeful failure to uphold any part of an agreed-upon brokerage deal will result in future blacklisting from brokerage services.

The broker will not act as an enforcer for deals made by parties who do not hire him as broker from the onset, and no protections or guarantees will be given in these cases.

Yes. We worked at the same hospital. He was from...sometime in the future from me, so it made things complicated. Still, I'd feel better if he was here.

He wasn't a bad sort. Always good to have more doctors around town.

We both know that this is the best deal you will be able to procure from anyone, because you are a woman motivated by personal gains at the expense of everything else in your life. Here, what made you of worth back home, is of little relevance. There are already competent doctors with either a better bedside manner or more intelligence than you, nobody needs you.

The only value you currently add is in trade commodity.

However, that is hardly going to be enough for you. To be a two-bit drug pusher while others make all the discoveries and get all the glory? You can't work with Greg, he's too sore over your future connection with his dead best friend, and you have at least the intelligence enough to know that your best shot at being present for, and therefore gaining some of the glory for, a major discovery is to ally yourself with either Greg or myself.

If you are present for one discovery then you gain worth in the eyes of people here as useful, you may even impress those that you foolishly want to impress. This deal is the most lucrative one for you to be offered.

As the kids say: #owned.

[Amber thinks of several different things to say. One, that she knows, so he's beating a dead horse. She doesn't need him to remind her of her own uselessness. And two, that she and House have been cooperating, if only distantly. But she knows that saying these things isn't going to change anything. She knows she has to stay strong. Giving in and letting him push her around, Sherlock won't give her anything.

But if she holds her ground, at least this one time, at least Watson will be forgiving.

Of course, Amber knows she can't count on that, either. She can't count on anyone. So ultimately, it's for her own good that she gives him her answer.]

The slight pause before her answer tells him that, though he hadn't anticipated she would be this stubborn about it. He's irritated because it makes him feel as though he's miscalculated, and he knows there's no way to currently work around this without begging. Which he is not going to do.]

[That is, of course, not quite true. Amber is far too much like House for her own good. She's simply not a junkie, and has better tact.]
