[ A pause. ] Are you staying on that side?

[devoutish]

There'll be enough people exploring. You lot will need supplies. If we're smart, some of us will stay behind to search these houses.

[bywolves]

[ It makes sense. Royce has to swallow his initial response, though. He and Tifa just talked about this, and he needs to get past it. ]

I'd prefer to have you here. [ He says that with some difficulty. ] But you're right. May need food soon.

[devoutish]

I'd prefer to have you here, too.

[It's easier for him to say than it is for Royce.]

[bywolves]

[ Royce is quiet for a long moment. ]

When we figure out what is on the other side of these tunnels, you should join us.

[devoutish]

And if you need extra supplies then, too? You'll be in unknown territory.

[bywolves]

Not going to make any progress if I keep having to move back and forth through the tunnels, Solomons.

[devoutish]

I'll take care of delivery. You keep moving forward, and I'll cover places you've already been to grab up what you missed or what's been added since.

[bywolves]

[ He stops making his way through the snow and rotting wood to rest for a moment, and rubs at his face. It's been a long few days, and every so often the weariness hits him like a bag of bricks. ]

Alright. I'll plan for that. [ He leans against the tunnel wall, pulling his cloak tighter. A beat, and then quieter: ] Is anybody listening to your conversation?

They could if they tried; it's cramped enough in here. Go to tex, yeah?
