Alfie lightly nudges his chin against Royce's shoulder.]

[Alfie grabs up both their tablets, tossing them both into their respective bags. Then he sits up, taking his weight off Royce and moving to stand.]

[ The weight was kind of comforting, in a weird way. Royce pulls himself up and pushes his hair back out of his face. His hood goes with it, and he doesn't bother pulling it back up. Royce looks tired, paler than he used to be, wan. Just the way it is, these days.

He grabs his bag and his various things he's gathered, and prepares to follow Alfie up the stairs. ]
