[He snorts.]

It's not cuddling, It's keeping warm.

Same thing. [ But he's smiling again. ]

[devoutish]

[Yeah, okay, contact is nice and touch is important, but that's just an added bonus.]

[ Royce reaches down to his bag again, pulling out a blanket and pulling it up around him. He's cold and he really doesn't want to start shivering again, because once he does he can't stop. ]

It's horrible. Worst thing to ever happen to me.

[devoutish]

[Alfie scoots closer immediately.]

Give it over.

[He doesn't mean the whole blanket, of course. He just wants to wrap an end around himself, too.]

[bywolves]

[ Royce gives him some of the blanket, pulling his cloak closer. ]

Worst thing. [ Royce hums, sinking down into the couch. ]

[devoutish]

[Alfie grins as he leans heavily against his side.]

Yeah, I can tell your miserable.

[bywolves]

[ Royce sighs heavily, like he's being forced to put up with it. He doesn't move. ]

Mm. [ It's nice. He could almost nap like this. ]

[devoutish]

We should record more. Not now, but other days.

[He's wishing he had more footage of the girls.]

Yeah. [ He wishes the same. ] Might as well take advantage of the ability to.

Yeah. We've got photography at home, but it's expensive. Not like this.

Don't have anything like this at all. [ A beat. ] Well. Paintings.

[devoutish]

Paintings. Are there any paintings of you?

[bywolves]

No. [ He almost sounds incredulous. There's no way he could sit still long enough for one. Or would find it necessary. ]

[devoutish]

There will be though, eh? Emperor Royce.

[bywolves]

Ugh. [ THE WORST ] Not if I can help it.

[devoutish]

[Alfie's grinning. And chuckling. He's a menace.]

I'll paint your portrait.

[And he is indeed opening up a blank drawing pad on his tablet.]

[bywolves]

[ Oh god. Royce kicks Alfie's leg gently, giving him the most sour expression he can manage. It's all playful, though. ]

You have video of me, you don't need a portrait.

[devoutish]

[He starts out with the head, drawing in some messy hair and an exaggerated frowny face. Alfie's drawing skills are, in the whole, incredibly average - it's better than stick figure quality, but not by a lot.]

[bywolves]

[ Royce reaches over and drags a line across Alfie's screen like an asshole. He might be smirking a little. ]

[devoutish]

Fuck off.

[He bats his hand away, and starts drawing a cloak that's about three times the size of his body.]

[bywolves]

[ Royce snorts. ]

Is that supposed to be my cloak?
